We are looking for a (full-time or part-time) full-stack developer who would like to join our team in the short term.

Who we are and why you want to work for us

Scribit.Pro is a dynamic and flourishing start-up in downtown The Hague. We are at the forefront of making and publishing accessible online video content. Our software makes it possible to produce all the support files needed to meet the WCAG guidelines (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), such as captioning, audio description and sign language. We offer these services in different languages to serve an international market. We wish to create an accessible future in which web videos can be watched and understood by everyone.

Your task:

 As a developer at Scribit.Pro, you play an important role in the management and further development of our platform. We are ambitious and wish for our organization and product to grow. We expect you to maintain existing systems, as well as to develop new components. Together with two colleagues, you monitor the technical condition and furthermore, you know how to take Scribit.Pro to the next level.

Your profile:

You have just graduated or maybe you already have your first job as a developer. You feel the urge to devote yourself to building the best web applications. Not only because you wish to create something nice; you also sincerely wish to contribute to building an inclusive world. Working at Scribit.Pro means you will have a job with a positive impact.

Our tech stack:

Our basis consists of Golang, with Javascript/Typescript applications that run on Google Cloud. The front end is built in Vue and React. You don't necessarily need to know all these languages and/or tricks, but you must be willing to learn them.

You will bring in

  • Knowledge of front end frameworks like React and VueJS, or the willingness to learn these frameworks in the case you do know Golang
  • Knowledge of Golang, or the willingness to learn this in case you do know React and VueJS
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure (not a requisite, but a plus indeed)
  • You master different types of test writing
  • You think Agile and have Scrum and Kanban for breakfast
